Terms of Service

Last updated: September 22, 2026

1. About the service

Tech Meetups is a community and event-discovery platform operated by Tech Ministry. The service helps communities, organizers, and attendees discover, publish, and discuss tech meetups.

2. Organizers and communities

Meetups are created and managed by independent communities and meetup organizers. The community or organizer responsible for a meetup is solely responsible for the event, including its description, schedule, venue, capacity, access requirements, speakers, safety arrangements, cancellations, and communications with attendees.

3. Payments and tickets

Tech Meetups does not receive, hold, process, or handle payments for meetups. We are not the seller, ticket provider, payment processor, or financial intermediary for any event.

Any ticket price, registration fee, payment request, refund, cancellation, or dispute is solely the responsibility of the relevant community or meetup organizer and the attendee. Attendees should verify payment instructions and ticket terms directly with the organizer before paying.

4. Event information

Event information is provided by communities and organizers. Although we may moderate content or respond to reports, we do not guarantee that event information is complete, accurate, current, available, or suitable for a particular purpose.

5. Attendee responsibility

Attendees are responsible for deciding whether to attend an event and for communicating directly with the relevant organizer. You should assess the event, venue, payment instructions, accessibility, safety, and any other arrangements before attending.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the service to publish misleading events, impersonate another person or organization, send spam, collect information unlawfully, distribute harmful content, or interfere with the operation of the platform.

7. Platform availability

We may change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service, including event listings and accounts, when reasonably necessary for maintenance, security, moderation, or operational reasons.

8. Contact

For questions about a meetup, ticket, payment, refund, or cancellation, contact the community or organizer shown on that meetup. For questions about the platform, contact Tech Ministry through the available community channels.
